You can only perform at training and games as good as your warm up is.
A good warm up should increase core temperature, activate muscles, mobilise joints, gradually increase the speed and power of muscle contraction and also replicate game specific actions.
You can’t really afford to miss anything in the warm up as the bit you missed will be the bit that players get injured in.
It needs to progress from stationary to dynamic as well as from ground to standing based.
In this section you'll fond programs for activation, joint mobility, running mechanics that can all be included in your warm as well other filler programs for training the feet, hip lock position, ankle rocker and foot/ankle stiffness - all small things that can have a huge impact on your running performance.
